This is an academic proposal for the corporate headquarters of Ace Hotel in Houston, Texas. Ace Hotel is expanding its presence to Houston, one of the most diverse cities in the U.S., with a new headquarters downtown. Known for its vibrant, unique, and soulful designs, Ace Hotel selects cosmopolitan cities that attract creative minds. The design concept for the Houston location draws inspiration from the city's rich diversity, blending various cultures, nationalities, architecture, art, and economic influences.
This multiculturalism is reflected through thoughtful choices in geometry, materials, colors, finishes, furniture, and lighting fixtures. The aim is to create welcoming spaces that embrace people from all backgrounds, inspire and comfort employees, and make clients feel safe and recognized.
